Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa 17 May 2010: On the third anniversary of Crimeline law enforcement agencies took to the streets of Sandton to showcase 2010 World Cup readiness, supported by artists from the SHOUT campaign. This included the South African Police Force, National Defence Force, Airforce, Emergency Services police airwing, the airforce and various Metro Police departments. Head of Crime Line, Yusuf Abramjee, said the anonymous tip-off service as well as Tracker was happy to partner with the police to showcase World Cup readiness..Police Minister, Nathi Mthethwa, National Commissioner, General Bheki Cele, Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokhonyane, MEC's, MMC's and top police officers as well as a host of dignatories and prominent South Africans will attend the Crime Line celebrations and the 2010 readiness parade and programme.."Crime Line is three years old and we nearing the 1000 arrest mark. We have many reasons to celebrate," he said. "Let's continue to support our law enforcement agencies and make our country safer.".
